In an homage to late seventies teen angst, a butch (the artist) revels in her most compelling moment of identification, Matt Dillon’s first film, Over the Edge. By re-editing the original film and condensing it to its central conflict between agitated teen rebelliousness and the sexy, slow stoner rituals of the era, the tape evokes the zeitgeist of a very particular youth culture.
